Creating Follow Blog Link (Modified Follower Widget Blog)

We all blogspot users would have been familiar with the name widget blog follower. Follower widget blog is a blogspot standard facilities that are used to make it easier for someone to follow the development / update a blog.

If you want to follow / follow the blog then you just click on the words Join this site

Then later on will pop up a confirmation box for you (See picture below).

To continue / follow the blog then you just click the button FOLLOW

Well, my post this time to indicate that the widget box blog follower as shown in figure 1 above it turned out to be removed from our blog and replace it with a link only.

So what should be eliminated?

The reason, in my experience, the standard blog follower widget box that contains many errors css / html. I've been doing experiments on my blog, the first on this blog I plug follower widget box and then I check erornya using the w3 validator and found 70 errors, then I delete the widget box follower of my blog's sidebar and repeat the error checking css / html with the w3 validator and apparently reduced the number erornya more than 10 pieces, does that prove that the follower widget box turned out to contain a script error and it's not good for our blog?

Continuing on to our discussion.
So, how to replace the widget box follower of our blog so that others may still easy to follow our blog at the same time we can minimize the error the script on our blog?

To overcome these problems I use a link to facilitate others to follow my blog. The result as shown below:

How do I make it?

To make it easy, please see the guidelines shown below:

- First Login to your blogspot
- Go to menu / settings page Display / Design your blog
- Search Widget Top Tabs

- After finding the Top Tabs, and click Edit
Then the box will appear as follows:

- Enter the following URL http://www.blogger.com/follow-blog.g?blogID=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx on New Site URL field.

(In writing blogID = xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx you please replace the X with the code ID code of your blog)

ID blog is a series of numbers that exist on your blogspot URL when you are in a position to edit the page template or page position posting.

After you copy the URL that I mentioned above and also have you add the ID of your blog, (eg http://www.blogger.com/follow-blog.g?blogID=12345678901234567) and enter the URL into the URL field on New Site Top Tab widget

- The content is also part of the New Site Name
- Then click ADD LINK
- Finally click SAVE
